This has been my e-portfolio and its design entirely my own apart from the
navigation bar to the left which was sourced from a freeware html generator.
The image above used in the header was taken by myself using a simple soft
box flash and then rendering the background to be solely blue, the image is
based on one which was found on the internet but instead of use it. I shot
the image myself so it was fit for purpose. I like to think that the image
of the apple on the books gives a sense that the fruit can lead to
knowledge- be it of a better lifestyle or a heightened intellectual ability.
All things which can be traced back in someway to the good old apple.
The whole e-portfolio is as I imagined it from the start though designing
and making it using such a basic package as FrontPage proved to be very
difficult. Because of the necessity to script most of the more advanced
details of the pages for example the menu bar to the left.
All in all, the e-portfolio was a pleasure to create and the limitations
of FrontPage simply posed a challenge which I enjoyed having to overcome. |
